1976 Holden LX Torana SL/R 5000 Tribute … (SOLD)

For sale is a factory Mint Julep Torana S now a SL/R 5000 Tribute in Super Mint running a 253 V8, M20 4 speed manual and Banjo rear end. For sale from the Gold Coast, QLD.

Painted 12 years ago in 2 pack at which time the flares, bonnet scoop and two piece rear spoiler were fitted. These have been fitted without cutting the guards or the original bonnet. The LX is fitted with silver SLR5000 professionally painted on the rear spoiler.

The motor has been recently rebuilt with a mild cam, Pacemaker extractors, Group A spec Rochester Quadrajet carby tuned to the engine. The SL/R runs an A9X style 4BBL inlet manifold, Gilmer Belt Drive with mechanical fan and standard Torana radiator.

The interior has been retrimmed in SL/R Chamois Golf Ball trim with new SL/R steering wheel, new door cards, pinch welds, carpets and roof lining. The dash is fitted with correct SL/R gauges and SL/R ashtray but needs some finishing with tacho not currently working and radio missing. Glass is in good condition and is original except for the front windscreen.

The Torana is riding on fully refurbished 14x7" Hotwires with brand new Nankang tyres.

In the boot is a new boot matt, spare wheel and tools.

The SL/R is supplied with new Rare Spares seat backs for the front seats with Chamois paint and new door kick plates. Also available at additional cost is a set of four Simmons V5s 15x8.5" Torana stud pattern mags.
