In the hands of the current owner for over 33 years, this genuine Torana SL/R 5000 has been treated to a 80's style resto changing the original colour of Contessa Gold to Barbados green and adding flares, fat wheels and heaps of engine chrome. Cool in the 80's. Now a perfect blank canvas to transform back to it's original glory.

Getting near impossible to find, this is a genuine LH Torana SL/R 5000 featuring the matching numbers L31 5 litre Holden V8 and M21 4 speed with 2.78:1 LSD.

The car has been fitted with L34 style flares, Centrelines and a nice dose of chrome under the bonnet. The SL/R has some rust in the lower rear quarters, sills, bottom of the doors and boot rails. So yes, it does need a resto.

However, the car runs and drives and is currently registered with full WA registration.

The M21 gearbox shifts well. The brakes and suspension are roadworthy. The GU7 diff is smooth and does not clunk or whine. The SL/R is running a 650 DP Holley carby and extractors. The Torana is fitted with the original fuel tank and comes with a set of four original steel rims and standard SL/R hubcaps.

The interior features the all original black Golf Ball trim in very good condition, the original carpets, door cards, hoodlining, complete dash, original SL/R ashtray with aftermarket stereo and temp gauge. The car is showing 27,000 klms on the odometer.

The car has been lowered on Pedders springs and the Tory is riding on period correct genuine 14" Centreline wheels with older Bridgestone 245x50x14 tyres on the front and Yokohama 265x50x14 on the back. There is a standard steel spare in the boot.
