1969 Mustang Shelby GT350 4 Speed Manual ... (SOLD)

This is a rare beast! Unrestored SURVIVOR 1969 Black Jade Shelby GT350, featuring the all matching numbers M code 351 4V Windsor engine with RAM AIR induction, Close Ratio 4 speed Top Loader gearbox and 9" Traction Lok diff.

One of only 670 GT350s built by Shelby in 1969 making this a super rare and sought after US Muscle car. The 1969 model year received an extensive face lift with the body increasing in length by 4 inches. The new exterior look for 1969 was long and low with racy styling having looks that seemed to dare anything on the road to try and challenge it. These Shelbys were known for racing car handling in the day with lots of power to the asphalt and the suspension and brakes to match. In 1969 there were only 670 GT350 Fastbacks that rolled off the assembly line compared to the 1157 GT500 Fastbacks. This makes the GT350 rarer and in the opinion of many Shelby fans very desirable.

This car was originally sold to a drug store owner in Chicago and then sparingly driven and climate controlled stored by the second owner from 1984 until purchased by the current owner and imported to Australia in 2006. It still remains listed with the Shelby American Automobile Club (SAAC) Register with an entry in the 2014 edition (pics attached).

The car's all original Black Jade paint is in amazing condition for its age and shows that it has been in a dry environment with no rust or serious deterioration all this time. This GT350 also still wears its original reflective striping.

The interior is all original and in excellent condition with the Shelby roll cage, bright red band on the seats, factory harness seat-belts,full instrumentation, GT350 badging and a genuine documented log booked 55,000 miles from new.

The car comes with a huge receipt file, old photographs, original Shelby bill of sale and transfer papers. Also the Original hand book, Shelby Automotive Co. Inc. Protect-o-plate and Warranty card, owners receipts and bill of sales - its all there.
