2010 HDT VE - VC Brock Commodore 30th Anniversary Edition - Build No. 30/30 ... (SOLD)

Built to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original Peter Brock VC Commodore, this supercharged V8 located in Perth, WA, is based on the VE Commodore combining modern technology and know how with retro touches from the original VC Brock including the VC Commodore's original Firethorn Red paint, Irmscher-style wheels and red velour seats.

Each VE VC Retro Brock Commodore 30th Anniversary Edition was individually built to order by Peter Champion's HDT organisation. The 30th Anniversary Edition HDT is based on an SS-V Commodore. Upon receiving the car, HDT then went to work completely respraying the car in the signature Firethorn Red, re trimming the interior, supercharging the engine, fitting new wheels, suspension and exhaust modifications, and larger, race-bred brakes.

Originally HDT planned to build 30 examples but in the end only 3 were produced. Finished in Firethorn Red with unique VC style grill and boot spoiler, superb 19" Irmscher wheels and those wonderful VC retro stripes. And boy have we come a long way in 30 years. Try a tyre frying 450kw and 800Nm from the renowned L98 6.0L V8 with HDT installed Harrop supercharger, 6 speed manual gearbox and other in-house modifications including HDT's cold air intake, HDT performance camshaft, 3" ceramic coated exhaust and ECU re-calibration to dial it all in.

HDT coil over Bilstein suspension underpins all this power and stopping power is provided by the ultimate HDT performance brake package by Harrop. Inside HDT have fitted four sumptuous leather seats with carbon fibre dash package, build plate, Billet shifter and HDT floor mats.

Build No. 30 is a ONE OWNER car that has covered a genuine super low 2,901 km from new and comes with all HDT paperwork, log books, two keys and marketing literature. Still riding on the original day one tyres with the original unused spare in the boot. This VE VC Brock has never seen rain and has been carefully stored in a Carcoon ensuring the car is kept in a dust and humidity free environment.

One for the avid HDT collector and a perfect car to sit next to your original 1980 VC Brock or as a centre piece to any HDT collection.
