Genuinely in as it rolled out of the showroom condition, Build 1004 even features the original day one Uniroyal Wildcat tyres. Supported by the original owners log books and according to the Brock bible, Build 1004 left HDT's Bertie Street, Melbourne premises and was delivered to the original owner a Mr. Russell Wallis by the Smith Motor Company of Port Adelaide in South Australia on the 30th of November, 1983.

The service records show the car was used sparingly by the original owner and has since been a museum quality collector car coveted by two serious HDT enthusiasts, one in Adelaide and now with the current owner in Perth.
