Built from a factory 302 V8 4 speed manual XW Fairmont, this immaculate XY GT Falcon Replica was restored in 2022 and is running a Windsor 351 V8, the factory 4 speed Top Loader and factory 8 3/4" rear end. Originally a Reef Green XW Fairmont with Mist Gold trim, this 1970 Fairmont was optioned with integrated A/C and Power Steering. Converted in 2022 to an XY GT Falcon Replica the car was repainted in 2 Pack Reef Green with Gold GT stripes, GTHO front and rear spoilers, twin exterior tear drop rear view mirrors and 15" Bathurst style Globe wheels. The interior was retrimmed with White trim and White door cards, new carpets, seat belts, hood lining, 140MPH speedo, 8,000 tacho and GT rim blow steering wheel. The dash is the original item with the correct A/C controls, temp, oil and fuel gauges and an aftermarket AM/FM Retro Superfringe radio.

Mechanically, the GT Replica is currently running a 351 Windsor V8 with a Holley 650 DP carby, extractors, an aluminium shaker and the factory integrated A/C and power steering. The car is fitted with a new Yella Terra clutch and the gearbox has been rebuilt with new linkages. The Replica is also fitted with a 36 Gallon GTHO fuel tank, the radiator has been re-cored and a new water pump has been fitted.

The second engine supplied with the Replica is a fully rebuilt long 351 2V Cleveland with machined crank, I beam rods, Speed Pro flat top pistons, 4 barrel cast iron intake, Crane Blue Racer Cam, Mellings oil pump, Carter fuel pump and Bosch electronic ignition. This is supplied with a receipt from the engine builder, Leading Choice Performance in Melbourne.

The GT Replica is riding on 15x7" front and 15x8" rear Globe style alloy rims with brand new red walled tyres.
