Speicifications:
ENGINE
The engine was completely overhauled less than 10,000 miles ago. Since the overhaul, the following has been fitted:
• Wilder cam (Not sure of the duration - will confirm),
• Edelbrock in-take manifold,
• 600cfm Holley Double pumper carb,
• Pancake air-filter.
This car is pretty powerful without being over the top! The original cam, intake manifold, carb and air-filter housing will come with the car. There is also a spare set of heads with oversize inlet valves (55mm), and a flywheel.
MECHANICALS
Mechanically she is in good condition. She is running the original auto box and diff. She has new shocks, clutch and tyres. Two 60mm Stainless Steel exhaust pipes run the length of the car and finish up with rather large "F1" tailpipes. She sounds mean without being too loud.
BODY
She has had a recent repaint. I would rate the job as nice, but not concourse. A Mustang hood scoop has been fitted, and a hole has unfortunately been cut in the hood to feed air to the carb. A spoiler has also been fitted to the trunk-lid, but can easily be removed. "Fast and Furious" type decals have been applied to the sides of the body, but can be removed and the correct stripes applied. She is running on modern14" Alloy wheels. The original (but widened by about an inch) steel rims will come with the car as well as two sets of original chrome wheel covers.
INTERIOR
The interior was originally red, but has now been changed to black. New black carpets with red piping have been fitted. The seats have been covered in black leather with grey piping. The door panes etc have been sprayed black, and black matting has been glued to the dashboard. The steering wheel has been changed, but again, the original is available. Although it doesn't look bad at all, it shouldn't be too difficult to restore the interior to its original state. The workmanship is pretty good.
All in all, this is not a bad car. It may not appeal to everyone's taste, but the original parts are available, and the car is solid. It can be restored to its former state with a bit of tlc.
