Built from a superb rust free survivor Diamond White XW Falcon Ute, this XY GTHO Falcon themed TribUTE shows us what Ford could have built in the 1970s to turn the humble Falcon Ute into the bruiser of a car that the Super Pursuit Ute was to become under the FPV badge. Starting life as a mild mannered hard working country Ute originally delivered by Ansett Motors in Werribee, Country Victoria, the Falcon has been transformed into a bute GT TribUTE. Painted in the factory Diamond White paint colour as per the compliance plate with GT gold striping and black outs, XY GT tear drop mirrors, fuel cap and 5 slot red walls she's a real head turner. The interior features full GT black trim and door cards with driver's door remote mirror, Quarter vent windows stainless steel rubbing plates, a genuine GT dash, console and instrumentation, a rim blow GT steering wheel, black perforated hood lining and sun visors and a working 8 Track stereo/Radio.

The Ute has been built to closely follow the GT/GTHO theme and is running a 4V 351 Cleveland, a HO spec Holley 780 carby, extractors, GTHO style brake master and vacuum tank, a 16:1 steering box, GTHO style shaker with blanking plate and a GT style radiator support with 3 core radiator. The TribUTE also features a genuine XY GT Top Loader 4 speed gearbox with correct shifter and a 9" disc brake diff with 3.25:1 ratio centre.

Attention to detail is second to none with the use of GT parts including genuine spot lights, Trico wiper blades, dress rims and caps, a square based aerial, bumper over riders and an original Aquajet spare tyre. Nothing has been left to chance with a full brake and suspension rebuild. And the Ute is riding on GT 5 slot rims with near new red wall tyres.

In superb condition throughout, this is an excellent example of an XY GT TirbUTE. Enjoyed by the current owner for many years and now ready for the next custodian to drive and enjoy. Nothing to spend.
