The FG GT. The first of the final GT design was released in 2008 and with it the Raccoon eye front end headlight treatment. For the new FG GT release FPV upgraded the 5.4 Litre V8 squeezing more power from it and more refinement from the way it produces that power. Included was a new twin plate throttle body, new camshaft profile, altered timing and new stainless steel straight-through exhaust manifolds, along with a higher compression ratio. All this meant an extra 13kW for a total of 315kW peaking at an all important 6500rpm – 500rpm more than previously. Torque is a fat 551Nm at 4750rpm.
In the rare factory colour of Sensation, Build No. 228 is a totally original example of the FG GT and has covered a genuine log booked 20,749 Klms from new and is an accident and damage free example. The plush leather interior is presented in unmarked condition with everything working as it should.
With one previous owner from new, the GT comes with the owners manual and log books, two sets of keys and a comprehensive service history.
As expected, the GT drives tight and smooth and is presented with nil performance modifications. New tyres have been purchased (see photo gallery) and are included with the sale and can be fitted if required. However, the owner is presenting the car for sale with the GT wearing the original factory supplied rubber. Open the boot and the original spare is unused in the boot.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
