The battle between HSV and FPV to achieve higher and higher power ratings saw HSV pull slightly ahead of FPV with HSV's 2006 HSV E Series ClubSport R8’s unique-to-HSV 6.0 litre LS2 V8 that produced an exhilarating 307kW @ 6000 rpm (from 297kW @ 6000rpm) and 550Nm @ 4400rpm (from 530Nm @ 4400rpm). This improvement was courtesy of a revised intake and exhaust system (including new smooth flowing ‘four-into-two-into-one’ tubular extractors) and an engine recalibration. The E Series ClubSport R8 introduced 301 unique HSV enhancements over the outgoing VZ model including HSV fashioned twin-nostril grille tops a front facia that features a dynamic lower intake complete with V8 Supercar-like pseudo brake cooling ducts and a set of driving and fog lamps, signature metal pressed fender vents and striking 19-inch alloy wheel design to expose the awesome HSV brake package.

At the rear there is bold diffuser, a set of ultra-cool quad exhaust outlets and uniquely shaped LED rear lamps.

For sale is a sought after 6 SPEED MANUAL version in rare Evoke with Grey Cloth trim featuring the upgraded MIO Tremec T56 six-speed manual that helped the Clubsport achieve a scintillating 4.96 seconds for the 0-100km/h sprint. Presented in immaculate Evoke with Grey cloth trim, Build No. 1031 is a two owner car and has covered a genuine 95,983 kilometres from new and comes with the original HSV Leather Compendium, log books, owners manuals, full service history and two sets of keys.
