2006 Ford Falcon BF XR8 - Bionic Blue ... (SOLD)

Bargain buying Aussie muscle! Super tidy 2006 BF Falcon XR8 in signature Bionic now for sale from our Sydney Showroom.

At the heart of any muscle car is the engine. And in the case of the BF XR8 Falcon, Ford hand assembled the 5.4 Litre 260 V8 Boss engine at the Campbellfield production plant. Internals include double overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder with 9.52:1 compression, Mustang Cobra R heads, high lift cam profile, a high rise manifold, forged steel crankshaft, exhaust headers, Boss fuel rail with upgraded injectors, 75mm throttle body and a FPV oil pan and oil pickup.

Not quite up to FPV outputs but pretty still pretty impressive off the showroom floor.

For sale is a beautifully presented example of the Falcon XR8 in one of Ford's iconic colours - Bionic. The XR8 is fitted with the factory 6 speed ZF Automatic gearbox and has obviously been well loved.

The paint work is in very good condition with some touch ups over the years. The interior is in great shape with excellent black leather seats, good door cards, original carpets, hood lining and crash pad. The XR8 is fitted with factory working ice cold A/C, power steering, radio/CD player and all gauges are in working order. Delivered originally through Brad Garlick Ford in Ryde, NSW the XR8 is showing 118,778 Klms and is supplied with the original Ford Owners manual, original ownership details, two sets of keys and custom NSW number plates BF08XR .

Mechanically, the XR8 features the matching numbers 5.4 L Boss 260kW V8 (350 hp) delivering 500 Nm of Torque. The engine bay presents in excellent original condition with the addition of a working Shaker with K&N air filter. The Falcon performs, drives and sounds perfectly with a full stainless steel exhaust system fitted.

The XR8 is fitted with Neotech sports lowered springs and shocks (original shocks and springs included). The XR8 is riding on 18" GMAX Sport alloys with near new Toyo Proxes C100 245x40R18 on the front and 265x35R18 on the rear. There is also a matching spare in the boot.
