For sale from Perth, WA is an exceptionally well looked after totally original 2002 WH Series 2 Caprice 5.7 L V8 with a super low 66,566 KILOMETRES on the clock. With log books and the optional leather trim and electric sunroof makes this a very desirable Aussie cruiser.

Originally sold through Madills Holden, Noosaville QLD, this stunning two owner Caprice has been meticulously serviced and cared for and it certainly shows. The exterior is unmarked and the lovely optional Howe leather trim is in exceptional condition reflecting the cars low mileage. The Caprice comes with extensive service history, Pre Delivery sheet and associated booklets, owners manuals and log books and two sets of keys.

In 2002, HOLDEN'S pride-of-the-fleet was the Holden Caprice V8. Powered by that wonderful grunty 5.7-litre Generation III V8, rated at 220 kW (295 hp) and mated to the M30 4 speed automatic gearbox makes driving this luxury cruiser effortless, quiet and relaxed. Originally priced at over $70,000, the Caprice was aimed directly at the European prestige car buyer while offering more than the competitors in sheer size, engine capacity and comprehensive equipment levels. The Holden was in fact similar to the S-class long-wheelbase in size, but 1/4 of the price of the Mercedes.

Holden packed a lot into the 151mm wheelbase Caprice. Rear passengers got roof mounted climate control and stereo controls plus headphone jacks in the rear parcel shelf. A flip down table is incorporated into the rear armrest, complete with storage pocket and cup holders. The exclusive-to-Caprice options included Howe leather seats, 260-watt 12-speaker DSP audio system, individual ignition key memory for stereo settings, seating position for three drivers, upright Holden crest logo on the bonnet, chrome exterior door handles, as well as heated side view mirrors and auto dipping passenger side view mirror to avoid alloy wheel damage when reversing.

And safety in the WH model was also enhanced, with the addition of side impact head & torso airbags, pyrotechnic seat belt pretensioners along with drivers steering wheel and passenger dashboard airbags.

In sparkling Heron White with that glamorous optional Howe leather interior, this Caprice was further optioned by Holden By Design with the electric sunroof. Used sparingly and always regularly serviced, this Caprice is an amazing find with a genuine low 66,566 Kilometres on the clock. Everything works including the air-conditioning, 10 CD stacker, electric aerial, rear audio system, head phones and roof mounted rear speakers.

The Caprice is riding on the factory Caprice alloy rims shod in near new Pirelli Cinturato P1 225/55R16 tyres all round. Open the boot and you will find an immaculate boot matt, spare wheel with Pirelli Cinturato P1 tyre.

This Caprice will make a great cruiser and a true collectors item from an era that is now gone. An important car for Holden, and a super comfortable full-size locally-produced executive cruiser now becoming rare on the ground in this superb condition.

Make an appointment to check this one out and enjoy how good our Australian big luxury cars really were. Well done Holden.
