1997 Ford EL Falcon GLi - Survivor ... (SOLD)

For sale is a two owner example of the base EL Falcon GLi. In absolutely stock standard day one unrestored and unmolested condition for sale from Cabramatta, NSW.

The last of this model shape and the most refined, the EL Falcon was fine tuned by Ford to the tune of $40 million with a redesign of the suspension and steering set up to greatly improve the handling. Ford also made a number of relatively minor cosmetic changes over the EF, including new grilles, headlamps, bumpers, tail lights and wheel trims. Thicker, tinted glass and added dash insulation reduced noise inside the Falcon, while new seats increased headroom, which made it more comfortable for taller drivers.

Finding a low mileage SURVIVOR EL Falcon GLi is super rare. For sale is a Dynamic White EL GLi with 98,912 Klms on the clock supported with log books and service history. The GLi is equipped with cloth trim, lumbar adjustment in the front seats and remote central locking with an engine immobiliser. This GLi is equipped with the matching numbers 4.0-litre single overhead camshaft six-cylinder engine with an alloy cylinder head and fuel injection producing 157 kW and gears are changed via the popular four-speed auto.

The Falcon six is famous for delivering heaps of torque, making it easy to drive and great for towing, while delivering reasonable fuel consumption for the time returning around 12.0 L/100 km in city traffic and 8.0 L/100 km when cruising the highways.

Sold originally on the 12th of September, 1997 by Grawill Ford, Pacific Highway, West Gosford, NSW to a Mr and Mrs. B & J Seddon of The Entrance, NSW, the Falcon is as close to original as possible. The original Dynamic White paint is in excellent condition and is damage and rust free. The Mako Grey cloth trim has been covered with seat covers from new and is therefore in excellent clean condition. All gauges work including the factory A/C, power steering and original radio/cassette player. Steering wheel, crash pad, carpets and door cards are also in excellent condition. All plastics and rubbers are in good condition with no cracking. Hood lining is original but is sagging.

The Falcon comes complete with original Grawill Ford Dealership Folder, log books and manuals, two sets of keys, full service history and 98,912 Klms on the clock. The Falcon is dealership fitted with head light covers, bonnet protector, rear window protector, driver and passenger weathershilds and Ford bonnet badge.

The Falcon is riding on the originals 15" alloy rims with excellent Pirelli tyres with locking nuts. In the boot is the original Bridgestone spare, factory tools and super clean boot carpet.
