1995 DRB AC Cobra 302 Windsor V8 ... (SOLD)

Iconic AC Cobra Replica built by renowned specialist DRB Sportscars of Qld in 1995. Immaculate original condition showing only 13,647 klms. Running a smooth strong Ford 302 Windsor, C4 automatic, four wheel disc brakes and VL Turbo LSD, this is a cool, tight, and blindingly quick sportscar.

The professionally built 302 Windsor includes roller rockers, a 650DP Holley, Edelbrock aluminium intake, Gilmer pulley and belt drives, electronic fuel pump and ignition, and custom made extractors and exhaust, with rear dump pipes. The note is perfect, the side exhaust is non functioning. The kitted three speed C4 auto includes a B&M Pro-Ratchet shifter. Performance with the auto trans is enormous, just point and hang on. Wheels are Halibrand style with replica knock off centres. Tyres are Pirelli 235/60/15 fronts with B.F.Goodrich 275/50/15 rears. The high quality professionally fitted tonneau cover remains in excellent condition with all zips and fasteners in full working order.

The body is dead straight and tight with doors, bonnet and boot in perfect functioning alignment. Painted in glorious Ford Moondust Silver with Blue Shelby competition stripes it looks as good as it goes. The shell of the DRB Cobra is slightly longer than the original in order to provide a deeper foot well, allowing taller drivers to fit comfortably and is a faithful copy of the big-block 427 Cobra, with its pumped up guards. Dash instruments and controls are all in top working order and it starts like a gem.

DRB are renowned builders of over 350 AC Cobra kits since their foundation in 1980. DRB designed cars have a reputation for engineering quality. Shannons Insurance have been quoted as saying that DRB Cobras are the best engineered Cobra, and command the best resale price. This credibility is invaluable, and the outstanding quality is easy to see in DRB products.
