Beautifully preserved SURVIVOR 1989 Ford LTD. Once the ride of choice for Australia's Politicians and elites. Sumptuously outfitted with every luxury known to man in 1989, this top of the range super low mileage limo is for sale from Wallan, Victoria.

With a genuine log booked mileage of 124,799 KILOMETRES on the clock this Rosewood Red 3.9 MPFI powered LTD was built in December of 1989 and was sold by Retell Ford (which later became Jefferson Ford) in June of 1990 for the princely sum of $50,700. This well documented car comes with the original sales invoice showing the options of remote alarm, LTD bonnet emblem and paint and interior protection as well as the original registration papers, log books and all owners manuals.

Originally the company car of the Managing Director of plastics manufacturer, Moss Products in Clayton Victoria, it was retained by the same owner until his passing in 2016. Judging by the cars impeccable condition, the LTD was obviously always garaged and serviced and is certainly one of the few that have survived in this condition. The LTD retains two sets of original keys with dog tags, dealer key rings as well as the original LTD folder and brochure. The LTD also comes with receipts for maintenance work carried out over the years.

The Rosewood Red paint in mostly original and in very good condition with no rust and only a small mark on the rear bumper and a scratch on the LH mirror. The glass is still factory Ford and headlights are still the original Ford branded lenses.

The Ironbark velour trim is in extremely good time warp condition. All four window regulators have been replaced so all power operated windows work perfectly. The trip computer, climate control system and all backlights also work perfectly. The AM/FM/cassette sound system works well for a 1980s setup, however, the rear radio changer in the back of the console does not work.

Mechanically the LTD is in excellent serviced and maintained condition with the 3.9 MPFI engine and 4 speed automatic transmission still factory 1989 and working seamlessly as does the power button. The cylinder head was replaced this year as it had signs of corrosion due to lack of use and the brakes and suspension have been thoroughly serviced. This work was done by the local Ford dealer - Central Ford in Kilmore, Victoria. The owner has also had the roof lining replaced and the A/Con re-gassed.

This LTD is a rare offering with most LTDs having been converted to LPG and used as taxis or limos and showing considerably more mileage than the genuine 124,799 on this amazing survivor example.

This stunning LTD is located in Wallan, Northern Victoria and is available for your inspection by appointment. Registered with full Victorian rego and CLJ-006 plates until 10-11-2023. (Ref. 6311)

If you wish we will gladly arrange a video tour of the car using WhatsApp and of course there is no issue with door to door enclosed transport anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.
