1986 Holden VL Commodore 4.9L V8 - Alpine White … (SOLD)

Factory Alpine White 4.9 Litre V8 VL Commodore Executive nicely modded mildly worked factory engine with high rise manifold and lovely 20" HDT Momo Star alloy wheels. For sale from our Sydney Showroom.

For sale is this stunning example of the V8 Executive. In Alpine White with perfect Cerulean Blue trim, this Commodore is showing 54,918 klms which is believed to be genuine.

Bare metal repainted 8 years ago and repainted in 2 pack the Commodore presents in showroom condition with faultless paint and body. There is a photo file of the restoration including some 100 photos of the respray. The Commodore is rust and damage free. The interior is all original except for the hood lining which was replaced at the time of repainting. The door cards, seat trim, carpets, dash etc are all original.

Mechanically all matching numbers with the 4.9L V8 has been rebuilt by SR Performance in Sydney 5 years ago with mild cam, the familiar Rochester four-barrel Quadrajet carburettor, Pacemaker extractors, 2 1/2" stainless steel exhaust system. The VL is running reconditioned brakes and suspension including new shocks.

The whole look is set off nicely by a genuine HDT LE side skirts plus front and rear spoilers, a genuine HDT Momo steering wheel, HDT headlight covers and four enormous 20" HDT Momo Star alloy rims fitted with low profile near new 225x30R20 Horace rubber all round. The original Executive rims with tyres come with the car as does the original bonnet and air cleaner. The A/C has been removed and the car comes with the pulleys and brackets but no compressor.

The VL has factory power steering, a rear window venetian and the original sound system.
