1977 LX SL/R Torana V8
Very late build fully restored 1977 LX Torana SL/R originally a 4.2L V8 in rare Chamois with Chamois trim. Recent full restoration by current long term owner including a rotisserie bare metal restoration from a rust free body having been Ming rust proofed from new. Resto includes a detailed undercarriage (pics included) and painted in 2 Pack. You can eat off the floor pans.
Running an L34 spec WB 308 V8, 30 thou over, 9.6 compression with ACL flat top pistons, Hastings rings, balanced crank, Yella Terra heads with stainless L34 valves, match ported to a Torquer manifold. Yella Terra roller rockers with screw in studs. 650DP Holley, Hydraulic cam, genuine Torana headers and cast iron exhaust manifolds through to a new 2 1/2" dual exhaust system. With just on 1,000 kms on the clock since the resto. Stock reconditioned Trimatic auto with 3.08 banjo diff. The car comes with a period correct rebuilt 253 V8 long motor as well.
Everything has been done properly including new brakes and brake lines. Suspension is Kings lowered 2” with Monroe shocks and all new bushes and front end. Interior has been retrimmed from the carpet to the hoodlining with the rare late LX dash having been restored with all working gauges, original radio and new vinyl boot matt. Apart from colour coded bars and door handles, this Torana is in original factory condition and not mocked up as a SL/R 5000. Wheels are factory optioned Hotwires. A genuine collector car with nothing more to spend just cruise and enjoy into summer in a well sorted V8 Tory.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
