Hey Charger!!!! Where on earth would you find a Valiant Charger with only 21,898 kilometres on the clock from new? Well, take a look at this beauty... In fact, the only way to describe this VJ Valiant Charger XL Sports Pack is that it is as close to a brand new factory delivered VJ Charger as it is possible to get. Presented in day one True Blue Metallic factory paint and unmarked Parchment trim, this Charger was ordered from Tonsley Park with the bigger 265 Hemi 6 cylinder engine, 4 speed manual gearbox and the Sports Pack option. The Sports Pack added the Charger "770" type instrument cluster, the 3 Spoke Sports Steering Wheel and Body Stripes. Last fully NSW registered in 1989, this very special Charger has been meticulously cared for by long term collector owners. The second owner purchased the car in 2004 with 16,113 kilometres on the clock and drove the car sparingly over the next 16 years raking up 5,717 kilometres in that time. The current owner purchased the car in 2020 with 21,830 kilometres covered. This car will most definitely transport you back to 1975. It is in fact the perfect time capsule. Open the doors and take a good look at the condition of the interior trim, the seat belts, the grain of the steering wheel and gear shifter, the lack of wear to the brake and clutch pedals. In the engine bay the original clamps are still fitted to the hoses, there is the original press button radiator cap and original GE headlights. Inside the ashtray and lighter have never been used. And in the boot is the original Aquajet spare, the jack, original immaculate boot mat and underneath the car all the markings are there to be seen. All this underscores the car's low mileage and originality. Included is a photo of the odometer when purchased by the second owner in 2004, a pink slip showing the mileage as well as old sales receipts showing the original number plates HLN-469 and mileage at time of each sale. And to top it off, the Charger is presented riding on the ORIGINAL day one Aquajet tyres (as seen in the photos) including the spare tyre plus a set of road ready tyres on a second set of sports rims. It just doesn't get any better than this. One word of warning. If you do buy the car and decide to drive it we can't guarantee that you won't find yourself back in the Australia of 1975 - perhaps at the time of the Double dissolution of Parliament and the ousting of the Gough Whitlam government. Whatever happens, we are sure that the next owner will be delighted with this stunning survivor Valiant Charger. In our Mortdale, Sydney showroom for your private inspection. (AMCS Ref. 5751) AMCS will gladly arrange a video inspection/road test of the car using WhatsApp, and of course there is no issue with door to door freight delivery anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.
