Mothballed true survivor untouched 1972 Holden HQ Statesman Custom.
You read that right! This is not a DeVille ... but a super rare and very desirable Chateau Mauve Metallic with Antique Saddle/Brown trim Statesman Custom!
This special one off HQ Statesman was owned by a little old lady from Castlemaine, VIC until 2017 and has travelled a genuine 111,000 miles. It comes complete with all its original log books, owners manual and the original Holden sales brochure. Powered by the matching number 253 V8 and a very rare three on the column manual transmission. Also still fitted with the original carpet, battery terminals and radio.
Interior trim is as new in stunning original condition and will seat a large family of 6 in classic 1972 style luxury without A/C, P/S or P/W. However, she has the optional factory GTS dash fitted to add that sporty style to the luxury package.
In fact this HQ is so original it is still fitted with its original Lucas headlights and radiator. Yes it does have a few scratches and bumps but it has no rust holes and is a very honest true survivor car!
Recently had new suspension bushes and a water pump. Tyres are good. In incredible original condition for a car that's almost 48 years old. Truly a classic turn-key cruiser. Northern suburbs, Melbourne car. (Ref. 5167)

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
