Very nice Holden HG 350 Chev V8 Ute, located on the NSW South Coast. If this '71 HG Holden Ute could talk, it would tell some great stories. About how the owner of more than 30 years used this Ute to travel around Australia. Sleeping in the back under the canopy. From outback NSW, Uluru to far Northwestern WA. She's been everywhere mate! Starting life as a 6 cylinder, the Ute has had a repaint in good old Holden Pinaroo Beige 2 pak in the early 80s. The body is rust free and the underside is as clean and rust free as you will find anywhere. The paint was done many years ago and still presents well albeit with a few chips reminding you of the great Aussie road trip adventures completed over the last 30 years! Running gear is now a super reliable reconditioned 350 V8 Chev matched to a very smooth Saginaw 4 speed and Ford 9 inch diff. The interior has been retrimmed with velour hoodling and the original bench seat is covered in 80's designer materials and custom floor matts to allow for easy cleaning. The dash is original with a Monaro GTS steering wheel and aftermarket temp and oil gauges. The car is also fitted with a working CB radio and an electric thermo fan in addition to the factory mechanical fan. The Ute comes with 3 sets of wheels. A set of genuine 8" old school Aunger US Racing mags with collectable tyres, touring 6 slotter wheels, and widened stock rims with hubcaps. The suspension is in very well maintained condition featuring air bags on the rear. The ute has an easily removable custom made canopy. The Ute is currently on full NSW registration. The HG is a real head turner and would be an easy conversion to street machine or leave as the cool cruiser it is. South Pambula, NSW car. Call for details and to arrange inspection.
