1970 XW Falcon 500 - Unrestored Survivor ... (SOLD)

Totally unrestored SURVIVOR 1970 XW Falcon 500 Sedan. Now for sale from Gunnedah, Country NSW.

Original condition two owner 1970 XW Falcon 500 purchased by the current owner from a family friend who was the original owner. The original Reef Green Metallic paint has been touched up and there are stone chips on the front from country driving but the car shows absolutely nil rust. There are of course some minor dents and scrapes but pretty bloody good for 52 years old.

The black trim is all original in near perfect condition with only a minor parting of the stitching on the driver's side of the seat base. The crash pad, steering wheel and all gauges are in excellent condition as are the original door cards, vinyl flooring and hood lining. The original seat belts have been replaced with inertia reel front and modern rear belts.

The car is powered by the matching numbers 3.6 litre, 221 CID 6 cylinder and the 3 speed Ford-O-Matic column shift auto. The car has been fully serviced and runs like a dream. The XW also comes with two sets of keys. The XW is showing 116,045 miles.

It has all original rubbers and glass and the chrome on this car is in excellent condition. The car features mud flaps front and rear and the Falcon is riding on 14" period chromes steel rims and good rubber.

Open the boot and you have an original rubber boot mat plus the original steel spare and tools.

This is a great survivor, barn find example and deserves to be preserved as Ford intended.
