For sale is an absolutely gorgeous genuine Sebring Orange 1970 HT GTS Monaro, originally a factory 186S 6 cylinder now running a 350 Chevrolet V8, Turbo 350 Automatic gearbox and 9" Tru Trac LSD. Supplied with the matching numbers running 186S motor. Located near Laurieton, NSW.
After 15 years of ownership, the time has come to sell this stunning HT GTS Monaro. Running a 350 Chevrolet V8 engine with reconditioned heads, on standard bore, Quadrajet carby rebuilt by ProCarb in Taree, CVR starter motor, RAE Electronic distributor and Lukey extractors through to a twin factory style exhaust with unrestricted mufflers. The HT is fitted with a reconditioned T-350 3 speed automatic gearbox, G J Drivelines tailshaft with Billet yokes and a 31 spline Tru Trac 9" diff built by Diff King in Melbourne. The HT GTS is also supplied with the original 186S engine (2-1970 casting) 30 thou over. All compliance plates are in their place and have never been removed from the firewall.
The owner has repainted the HT approximately 15 years ago and the car presents in beautiful condition with nil rust or damage. The owner has also had the bumpers and grill rechromed.
On the inside, the Monaro features a full interior retrim with seats built by Super Trim in Melbourne with new Houndstooth trim, new crash pad, original steering wheel and fully recalibrated gauges. New plush pile carpets have been fitted and the Monaro features the original factory fitted AM radio. The GTS still features the original door cards and hood lining.
The GTS runs the original disk brakes on the front and drum on the rear with new adjustable Koni shocks on the front and Monrie on the rear with a Selby stabiliser bar on the front and Pedders standard height V8 front coil springs.
The Monaro is riding on 15" Dragway mag wheels 7" on the front and 8" on the rear with B F Goodrich TA radials all round.
The GTS is showing 97,927 miles. All the glass is original except the windscreen.
In the boot is the original vinyl boot mat and carpet, spare wheel, tools and fire extinguisher.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
