Modified 1969 HT GTS Monaro, originally a factory 308 V8 now running a period correct 308 motor with a Carter 2BBL 600 CFM carby, mild cam, aluminium exhaust manifold, Pacemaker extractors to a single 3" exhaust. Factory Trimatic automatic gearbox and 10 bolt Salisbury LSD rear end. Repainted in Ford Hermitage Red from the original Kashmir White in the 1990s and retrimmed with cloth covers over the original black trim. A nice driver and good entry level genuine GTS Monaro. For sale from the Sunshine, Victoria.

While not being correct to the Holden compliance plates, this genuine HT GTS Monaro presents a great opportunity to secure a well loved genuine GTS at an attractive price. In the current ownership for the past 40 years, this Monaro GTS has been built to be driven not hidden. The car presents in excellent condition with no rust or damage.

The factory dash is in good condition including the crash pad and the car is fitted with a genuine HK GTS steering wheel. The Monaro is showing 77,193 miles and features new carpet, new door cards, original hood lining and front seat belts. All the chrome and glass are in good condition.

Mechanically the drive train has been fully maintained and the GTS drives perfectly. Recent work has included the reconditioning of the radiator, installation of a new manifold, new alternator, new fuel pump, new brake master cylinder and a new battery.

The owner has also recently reconditioned the brakes with discs on the front and drums at the rear. The suspension has been fully rebuilt with new lower and upper control arm bushes, ball joints, front shocks and sway bar bushes in 2020.

The HT GTS is riding on 14" Bathurst Globe alloy mags with Nankang 195/65R14 on the front and Olympic Javelin P215/65R14 on the rear. There is a spare in the boot with tools.

Purchased by the current owner when he was 17, this has been a lifelong dream machine. Nearing retirement, its time to move it to the next caretaker who hopefully will enjoy it as much as the current owner has.

A great entry point to a classic Holden Monaro GTS.
