1969 HB Torana SL Coupe
When was the last time you saw a HB Torana for sale? The original HB series Torana was released in 1967 and was closely based on the British Vauxhall Viva. The name Torana comes from an Aboriginal word meaning "to fly" although we are not sure that the HB would fly very far with its tiny 12-inch wheels and 56-bhp 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine. A 4 speed manual gearbox was standard with a 2 speed automatic transmission, optional. Drum brakes were fitted front and rear, with power-assisted front disc brakes optional as fitted to this example.
For sale is this super rare nowadays 1969 Survivor quality unrestored HB Torana SL series 2 coupe featuring the original Burgundy Metallic paint with original buckskin seats.
For an original car it is in exceptional condition with only a small amount of rust in the lower front guards and lower quarter behind the wheels. The paint is thin in places and has had a few touch ups but shows lovely patina with its original chrome and wheel caps.
Mechanically in good condition but would need a once over to make it ready for a roadworthy.
If you are unable to inspect this HB Torana in person due to the Coronavirus, we can arrange a live video inspection of the car for you. This will allow you to go right through the car while you are on the phone including a test drive so you can have a VIRTUAL INSPECTION in real time. You can also arrange for an independent mechanical/body report and of course we will arrange secure covered transport to your door.

Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
