1969 Ford ZC Fairlane 351 V8 ... (SOLD)

Every now and again we see a car come into the Showroom that really is in a whole different league to most others. This beautiful Imperial Burgundy ZC Fairlane is one such example. This is a rare all matching numbers T code 351 4V Windsor V8 powered Fairlane 500 optioned with the factory T-bar FMX automatic gearbox and a Black vinyl roof. These T Code ZC Fairlanes featured the same 351 4V Windsor engine/gearbox combo as supplied in the 1969 XW GT Falcons making this a true factory built muscle bound luxury car.

AMCS has known of this car for over 10 years. The car was a one owner car based on the Central Coast of NSW. It was then purchased through AMCS by a father and son in Melbourne who owned a panel shop and repainted the car in stunning 2 pack Imperial Burgundy. They then on sold the car to a keen Ford collector in Perth who now has the car for sale.

Externally, the car presents as brand new. The paint is faultless. The vinyl roof is in excellent condition. The engine bay is concours correct and features the original air cleaner assembly, Autolite carburettor and power steering. Open the doors and the interior is all original and untouched from day one. And it is perfect. This is Aussie built limousine elegance at its finest for the era. A grand old Dame that has been preserved perfectly and obviously lived a cherished life.

Showing just 97,358 miles from new the car also comes with the log books and has been fitted by the dealership during pre-delivery with an HMV radio. As with all Fairlane 500s the car has factory power steering and still retains the original hub caps on as-new rubber.
