1957 Chev Bel Air Nomad (SOLD)

Now for sale is this stunning ex Texas top of the line '57 Chev Bel Air Nomad. Imported eight years ago, this is an excellent rust free example of one of the rarest Chev body styles. The build and specification of this unique 2 door 6 seater wagon is outstanding.

The car is fitted with a Chev ZZ4 350ci small block crate engine rated at 355hp. These are factory spec'd with aluminium heads, 4 bolt mains, roller cam, Edelbrock full polish intake, Unilite ignition, MSD gear reduction starter and now fitted with a Holley carby.

Brand new dual core full polish radiator with new hoses and dual Bosch thermo fans. Edelbrock hi-flo water pump. Ceramic coated headers with dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. Starts and runs perfectly with a great note.

Vintage Air air cond and new Saginaw 605 power steering conversion. Front end upgraded to new coil over shocks. Transmission is a 4 speed Turbo 700 R4, with a Currie Enterprise 9 inch disc rear end with 3.7 gears. Four wheel discs include a new booster and master cylinder. Wheels are polished chrome Dragways.

Retro sound stereo head unit with amplifier, focal front speakers and infinity rears (hidden). Custom console. Original analogue dash instruments. Iddit tilt steering column with column shift.

Full leather and wool interior, full sound proofing and cut pile custom carpet throughout. Specialty power windows. Mad Mooks billet stainless one piece upper tailgate trim and anti-rattle kit with Mad Mooks stainless upper tailgate struts. Rear Gear multi speed intermittent wiper system.

The paint and body are in excellent condition with very good chrome and stainless trims throughout.

The car has full NSW engineering and registration and also has a Qld mod plate for full rego in Qld too. This car has travelled less than 15,000km since the motor and driveline have been installed.
