For sale is a super slick Restomoded Black Beauty. A 1949 Ford F1 Pick-up running a 351 V8 Windsor, C6 auto and 83/4"diff. For sale from our Sydney Showroom.

The first generation of the Ford F-Series, the F1 was produced by Ford from 1948 to 1952 and marked Ford's development of a chassis intended specifically for truck use. Alongside pickup trucks, the model line included panel vans, bare and cowled chassis and marked the entry of Ford into the medium and heavy-duty truck segment. Ford departed from sharing a common platform with its passenger lineup and developed a purpose built truck frame specifically for the F-Series. The new frame, included a third cross-member which enabled extra strength enough to be shared with its medium duty lineup.

For sale is a stunning example of the F1 Pick-up. Fully rebuilt in 2015, the F1 is engineered with the Queensland Mod plate attached.

In place of the factory Flathead V8 is a 351 Windsor with a 4BBL Performance Holley carby, alloy heads, Edelbrock Performer manifold, mild cam and polished stainless extractors. The F1 is running MSD ignition, a large thermo fan with aluminium radiator, late model Falcon power steering and ice cold Vintage Air-conditioning. The motor, gearbox and diff have all been reconditioned within the last 12 months.

Gears are swapped via a rebuilt C6 automatic, with B&M shifter and a mild stall.

The F1 is fitted with a Mustang independent disk brake front end and a Ford 8 3/4" disc brake rear.

On the inside, the F1 is fitted with late model Falcon seats trimmed in beige leather, with matching door cards, a full set of Dolphin gauges, power windows, SAAS timber steering wheel, a modern Bluetooth head unit and a keyless start.

The F1 is riding on American Racing wheel, chrome polished on Nitto rubber 225/50R17 front and 275/40ZR18 on the rear.

This Black Beauty is ready to be cruised into summer. A great Pick-up truck to sign write and set your business apart from everyone else or just enjoy as a weekend hauler.
