For sale from Melbourne, VIC is a totally original 2003 WH Series 2 Statesman 5.7 L V8 with a low 144,275 KILOMETRES on the clock. With log books and the optional leather trim makes this a very desirable exceptionally good value Aussie luxury cruiser.

Originally sold through Sundell Holden, Gordon, NSW, this two owner Statesman is now ready for a new custodian. The elderly owner is no longer driving and has priced the Statesman to sell. The exterior is in good condition for its age with a minor dent in the rear bumper and some paint fading on the roof but otherwise the car is rust and damage free.

The interior features the optional Howe leather trim which is in good condition reflecting the cars low mileage. The Statesman comes with full service history, log books, owners manual and associated booklets and two sets of keys.

In 2003, HOLDEN'S pride-of-the-fleet was the Holden Statesman V8. Powered by that wonderful grunty 5.7-litre Generation III V8, rated at 220 kW (295 hp) and mated to the M30 4 speed automatic gearbox makes driving this luxury cruiser effortless, quiet and relaxed. Originally priced at around $70,000, the Statesman was aimed directly at the European prestige car buyer while offering more than the competitors in sheer size, engine capacity and comprehensive equipment levels. The Holden was in fact similar to the S-class long-wheelbase in size, but 1/4 of the price of the Mercedes.

Holden packed a lot into the 151mm wheelbase Statesman. Passengers were spoiled with sumptuous leather trim, a premium Blaupunkt sound system, power-adjustable driver's seat, dual-zone climate control and woodgrain highlights. There is also remote keyless entry, cruise control, power windows and trip computer plus rear parking sensors, automatic headlights, front fog lights, and 16-inch alloy wheels.

And safety in the WH model was also enhanced, with the addition of side impact head & torso airbags, pyrotechnic seat belt pretensioners along with drivers steering wheel and passenger dashboard airbags.

The Statesman is riding on the factory alloy rims shod in Bridgestone Potenza 225/55R16 tyres all round. Open the boot and you will find an immaculate boot matt, spare wheel and tools.

This Statesman will make a great cruiser and a true collectors item from an era that is now gone. An important car for Holden, and a super comfortable full-size locally-produced executive cruiser now becoming rare on the ground in this condition.

Make an appointment to check this one out and enjoy how good our Australian big luxury cars really were. Well done Holden!
