1982 Holden WB Statesman Caprice - Alabaster White
Running the all matching numbers 5.0 Litre V8 engine featuring the factory 4BBL Quadrajet carby, original air cleaner, rocker covers, battery leads, radiator and fan with shroud. this is as close to showroom factory specs as possible. The transmission is the 3 speed Tri-Matic automatic and the brakes and suspension have been serviced as required. The A/C has also just been fully serviced with new receiver dryer and re-gas. The Statesman drives and runs perfectly and has only recently made the drive from Adelaide to Sydney faultlessly.
On the inside, the Caprice features the original Cerulean Blue velour trim with the factory Caprice standard luxury fittings including A/C, P/W, P/S, auto antenna and reading lights all of which work as they did when new. The Caprice is also fitted with the optional Moss Alarm which is working and comes with the original keys and remote.
Sold and serviced by Claridge Motors, Malvern, South Australia on the 4th of May 1982, the Caprice comes with the original log books, owners manual, dealership pocket, original keys plus some receipt paperwork. The car has covered a genuine 100,350 km from new and features all original paint which is in amazing accident free condition.
The Caprice was in the care of the original owner from 1982 until 1986, and then in the care of the second owner also from Adelaide until the present day. The Statesman was a daily driver until 2000 and used minimally. In 2000 it had 95,000 Klms on the clock so it has covered only 5,000 Klms in the last 25 years.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
