1977 XC Falcon V8 Hardtop ... (SOLD)

Well over $200,000 has been lavished on this XC Falcon V8 Hardtop. A factory Brambles Red 302 V8 and 4 speed manual car the current owner has undertaken a full bare metal restoration turning the Hardtop into a super comfortable custom cruiser. Painted in 2 Pak Yellow Glow with XB GS striping in 2017, every nut and bolt has been rebuilt on this Hardtop.

The car now runs a fully rebuilt 351 Cleveland V8 through to a FMX T-bar automatic and 9" diff. The factory Air Conditioning has been recommissioned to suit R134A and works perfectly and the car has factory power steering making cruising a pleasure.

A huge amount of effort has gone into reconditioning everything on this car to ensure that it is reliable and comfortable to cruise:

- The braking system has been fully reconditioned from the master to the pads.

- The transmission and diff have been rebuilt.

- The suspension has been lowered with King springs front and rear and Koni shocks.

- The instrument gauge cluster was removed and sent for overhaul.

- The gauges were rewound and a digital voltage regulator fitted.

- The radiator and all hoses were replaced and the car runs cool no matter the traffic or the temperature of the day.

- The undercarriage was painted and rails, doors and quarters were cavity waxed.

- The engine bay wiring was stripped and checked/repaired and reinsulated.

- There is a set of new Pacemaker extractors and a 2 1/2" mandrel bent stainless exhaust.

A comprehensive documented receipt/photo file comes with the car outlining all works completed, and the car is riding on new replica 15" Globe alloys with brand new red walled tyres.

With only 50 kilometres since the full professional restoration, this is a great opportunity to own a hard to find XC Hardtop restored to the highest level and ready for summer cruisin'.
