For sale is this magnificent 2020 Ford Mustang Tickford Trans-Am Limited Edition with only 29 Kilometres on the clock and much of the pre-delivery stickers and wrapping still in place!! A very special Mustang built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary 1969 Allan Moffat Coca-Cola Boss Mustang race car. For sale from our Sydney Showroom.

Moffat's famous 1969 Trans-Am Boss 302 Mustang debuted at Melbourne’s Sandown Park in May 1969 and went on to score 101 wins from 151 race starts as well as claiming numerous qualifying and lap records.

Tickford's brilliant tribute to this important touring car is perhaps even more important now given Moffat's passing late last year. With the Mustang Trans-Am Edition, Tickford modified the iconic pony car’s naturally-aspirated 5.0-litre V8s with a Tickford 400 tune to boost power to 400kW and 620Nm of torque.

Allan Moffat was excited to be involved in the development of the Tickford Trans-Am. The Tickford team created a modern interpretation of the original Race Red Mustang including the Number 9 and Coca Cola decal kit, the unique 20" Minilite wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S rubber, replica driving lights integrated into the front grille, a unique rear spoiler and an under-bonnet chassis strut bar signed by Moffat.

As part of the package, Tickford-engineered a suspension package featuring Eibach springs that lower the vehicle by 25mm.

The Brembo brake system is uprated with Bendix slotted rotors and ceramic pads, while two Steeda braces stiffen the rear of the car.

Inside, Tickford Trans-Am Mustang #66 is trimmed in red Nappa leather reminiscent of the red seats installed in Moffat's '69 race Mustang. These seats are embossed with Tickford and Trans-Am logos and the Mustang features a bespoke steering wheel with red and black leather and a straight-ahead marker, a retro manual gear-knob and a plaque noting the build number. This particular car is Build #66, a number chosen by the owner. It is believed that although 100 of these cars were planned to be built, only 17 Trans-Ams were actually completed.

A one owner collector car, this Trans-AM Mustang is the perfect centre piece for the Moffat Ford collector. Don't miss out on this outstanding ultra low mileage example of a special limited build tribute to an Australian Motor Sport legend. The late, great Allan Moffat!

AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 8.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
