1975 Holden LH SLR 5000 Tribute - Barbados Green
The two lap victory of a young Peter Brock driving with Brian Sampson in the Gown - Hindhaugh entered Holden LH Torana SL/R 5000 L34 in the 1975 Hardie-Ferodo 1000 has left a indelible mark on many Holden fans. So its little wonder that SL/R 5000 tributes are the second most replicated Aussie Muscle car behind the all conquering XY GT-HO Falcon.
Resplendent in the choicest colour for a Tory, this Barbados Green example was restored in 2024. This rust free Torana was resprayed in 2 Pack Barbados Green. The Tory has been Dynamat sound proofed and the L34 style flares have been fitted as per the factory. The Torana was also treated to a full rubber kit. The interior has been fully retrimmed in Black Golf Ball trim with full SL/R instrumentation. All gauges have been recalibrated and the crash pad and dash restored. The car features an original AM radio and there is a hidden stereo under the glove box.
Mechanically, the SL/R features a strong 350+ HP 308 V8 engine with Yella Terra roller rockers, 4BBL Rochester carby, 4 core radiator, Bosch alternator, distributor and electronic ignition, HPC coated stainless coated extractors, a T-5 5 speed gearbox with a heavy duty clutch and a shortened 9" diff with 31 Spline axes and 3.5:1 ratio LSD. The Torana has been NSW engineered and comes with all paperwork. All mechanical works are supported by a receipt file for works and parts used.
Riding on 14" Rallyee rims with Holden centre caps, near new tyres, hydraulic disc brakes up front, drums at the rear using the Torana stud pattern. There is also an original spare in the boot.
The SL/R Tribute comes with full NSW engineering paperwork, restoration file and mechanical receipts.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
