Rarely do we have the pleasure to offer for sale one of the sexiest products Holden ever produced. The HQ GTS Monaro Coupe. In Patina Gold Metallic with the famous Black and White Houndstooth cloth trim, this GTS is powered by the matching numbers 253 V8, M20 4 speed manual gearbox and comes with the original owner log books and manuals. It doesn't get much better that this! For sale from our Sydney Showroom.

Sold from City Motors, Adelaide to a Mr. J.A. Tasker from Glandore, SA the Monaro was purchased from the showroom floor with factory Antique Brown vinyl trim and changed at the dealership to Black and White Houndstooth. This day two trim is still in the car to this day. Retained in the original ownership until the late 1990s, the HQ was then sold to Holden collector in Sydney and then to the current custodian. The Monaro received a closed door respray approximately 30 years ago and is still in excellent rust and damage free condition to this day.

The Monaro has covered a genuine 119,071 miles and is supplied with the original log books, owners manual, GMH keys and a large receipt file.

Aside from the Day Two trim change, the carpets, dash and hoodlining are all original. A 13 transistor Air Chief radio is installed and fully operational.

The factory 253 V8 is stock standard has been maintained to the highest standard and comes with maintenance receipts. The compliance plates and driveline have never been removed from the car. The M20 4 speed manual gearbox and differential are also original and thoroughly maintained. The HQ is running a rebuilt Quadrajet carby with receipts for the rebuild from 2021.

The car is riding on 205x70R14 Firestone F900 red wall tyres including the spare in the boot. The HQ is also supplied with the factory tool kit.
