This October 1971 factory V8 Fairmont was treated to a full bare metal nut and bolt restoration.  A great deal of effort went into ensuring that all panels were rust and damage free and all gaps were perfect. After 9 months of meticulous work the car went to the paint shop and all panels were painted in 2 pack Vermilion Fire with clear over base. Correct black outs and stripes were also applied. All stainless was professionally repaired and  polished and new sill molds and drip rails fitted. The GT has been fitted with 65E Allan Moffat racing vinyl stickers that can be removed if required.

The GT is fitted with a 408 stroker Cleveland with Scat crank, Scat rods, S&R Flat Top Pistons, Lunati Voodoo hydraulic roller cam, hydraulic lifters, Crow pushrods with adjustable guide plates and screw in studs. The GT also features 3V Speedmaster aluminium heads and aluminium intake, a Holley 750 CFM carby with manual choke and vac secondaries and a 70 amp alternator with large GT pulley. Power goes through a Top Loader gearbox to the wheels through a 31/2" heavy duty tail shaft to a Ford 9" with 31 spline Tru-Track centre with 3.5:1 gear ratio. The Falcon is fitted with 4 into 1 Pacemaker extractors with twin 21/2" system with polished stainless tips.

Inside, the car is all GT. Fully retrimmed, the Falcon features a beautiful new black interior from carpet, door cards, crash pad to hood lining and seat belts. There is a full GT dash, beautiful GT steering wheel, Superfringe radio with blue tooth connectivity and clock. The GT is also fitted with XA style retractable front seat belts and 3 new belts in the rear.

The GT is fitted with XF power steering, King springs and Whiteline sway bars front and rear.  There is a brand new wiring loom, reconditioned brakes and a new 36 gallon fuel tank ... in fact everything is new, reconditioned or restored. This is a car that you will be confident to just jump in and enjoy while turning heads as you drive on by.

Riding on new 15 x 7" GTHO Bathurst Globes with 205/60R15 tyres on the front and 235/60R15 at the rear.  The boot is presented with a new rubber boot mat and the 36 gallon fuel tank with spare wheel tie down.
