Rare opportunity to acquire an unrestored Survivor ONE FAMILY OWNED 4 speed manual Falcon XY GT in Ultra White with Black trim complete with LOG BOOKS. Now available from our showroom in Sydney.

Authentic Survivor XY GT Falcon! One family owned since new, this full matching numbers manual XY GT Falcon was originally sold to a Mr. Barry Callow, the headmaster of Merrigum Primary State School in Merrigum, Victoria by CTC Smiths Motors of Shepparton, VIC.

The story goes that on his way to Shepparton, Barry was driving his Zephyr and the motor gave up the ghost. So he stopped by CTC Smith Motors in Shepparton and bought the XY GT. His daily driver from new, Barry retired in 2000 and the car sat under his house for ten years. The current owner, Barry 's nephew purchased the car from Barry in 2010 and has cared for this special ONE FAMILY OWNED car since then. Always registered on its original Victorian plates the GT has never had an accident and is a super solid dry country car.

Still presented in its original Ultra White paint, the GT features all original chrome and stainless. The glass is all original except for the front windscreen and the rear screen still features the original Smith Motors, Shepparton dealer sticker. The GT is running the original matching numbers 351 Cleveland 4V engine, 4 speed Top Loader gearbox and factory 9" diff. The GT retains the original Bakerlite fan shroud, Autolite Carby, original rocker covers, manifold, PBR brake master and date coded horns.

The interior is in day one condition with original Black seat coverings (except for the drivers seat), door cards, crash pad, dash facia, console and steering wheel. There are two sets of original keys and the original Superfringe radio is still in its place. The GT is supplied with the all important LOG BOOKS with some service history recorded. The GT also features the original issued VIC number plates.

Riding on the original riveted 5 slots with good tyres. In the boot is a new boot matt, original factory tools and spare 5 slot with red walled spare.

With so few unrestored GT Falcons left, this is a great opportunity to acquire a SURVIVOR GT Falcon to drive as is or restore the XY the way you want it.

Terms of sale

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
