1970 XW GS Replica Fairmont Wagon
Tastefully restored XW Fairmont Wagon rebuilt into a great family cruiser. In stunning Track red paint with Gold GS stripes, GS dash and GS hub caps, this factory 6 cylinder Fairmont is now powered by a fuel injected 5 litre motor out of an 1998 NL Fairlane with the 4 speed automatic gearbox transplanted and standard Borg Warner diff. The car was built in 2011 and still presents in excellent condition throughout with no rust or damage showing.
The Fairmont has been retrimmed in saddle trim with new carpet, new hood lining and sun visors. The owner has installed a GS dash with the original 120 MPH speedo and 8000 tachometer. All gauges work and there is a reproduction Superfringe radio with AM/FM radio and stereo. The boot area has been recarpeted and features an electric tailgate and period venetians. The car has been fish oiled throughout.
Mechanically the car runs perfectly with a stock fuel injected 5 litre V8. The 4 speed automatic gearbox makes for fuel efficient driving and smooth gear changes. In the engine bay, the ECU sits under a stainless cover. The car features extractors through to a dual 2" exhaust and then straight through to the rear.
The car is sitting on 14" rims with excellent GS caps on 195 x 75 front and 235 x 60 rear whitewalls tyres. Very cleans undercarriage with stoneguard to the diff and fuel tank.
The car is fitted with fog lights, period bonnet and front guard wind deflectors, bumper over riders and front bib spoiler. The headlights and fog lights have stainless mesh protectors fitted.
Full VIC registration. RedXW personalised plates included for Victorian buyer including roadworthy.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
