Now for sale a restomod '69 Mustang Fastback running a 351 Cleveland V8 with Ford 4 speed Automatic gearbox and TruTrac rear end. For sale from Hornsby, NSW.

The long term engineer owner has built a truly stunning 1969 Mustang Fastback that has plenty of mumbo and is a real pleasure to drive. A personal import to Australia 18 years ago, this stunning Mustang has been a labour of love for this enthusiast owner. Unlike many cars of this generation, the owner has built the Mustang to be readily driven as a daily driver if required with the Mustang built to perform on 91 RON fuel and handle and stop like a modern car.

Running a fully rebuilt 350Hp 351 Cleveland V8 featuring an Edelbrock AVS Thunder series 650 cfm carby, Cobra Jet 4 Bolt Mains with 12 point ARP bolts, Edelbrock RPM Airgap manifold, Lunati Hydraulic roller cam, Petronix Flame Thrower Dissy, Coil and leads, a Powermaster starter motor and an 100 AMP alternator. Power goes through to a Ford AOD 4 speed automatic gearbox with upgraded Lentech Street Terminator valve body, through the one piece tail shaft to a Strainge Tru Trac 3.7:1 ratio diff. The Mustang is fitted with Tri-Y extractors through to a 2.25" dual exhaust system. Restored and rebuilt in 2017, the Mustang has covered less than 5,000 miles since completion.

Handling is modded to provide precise steering and braking capabilities with upgraded RRS steering and front suspension and a Watts Linkage rear end. There are Eibach front springs and Koni rear shocks and the braking has been upgraded with VT Commodore twin piston PBR brakes on the front and standard drums on the rear.

Repainted in Australia in 2017 in 2 Pac Ferrari Red, the finish is near show condition. Front, rear and quarter window glass has been replaced with original door glass still in place. Chrome and door trims are all new items. On the inside, the Mustang remains fairly original with the addition of a centre console and digital gauges fitted to the steering column including a GPS speedo and Oxygen sensor.

The Mustang features many Mach 1 features including a pop-open petrol cap, dual exhausts and matte-black hood, steel wheels, a tail-mounted wing, high-backed seats, extra sound deadening in the boot and remote sports mirrors. There is also a Pioneer stereo with Blue tooth installed.

The boot has been fully detailed with new boot matt, full size spare and tools. The Mustang is riding on chromed Magnum 500 15" wheels with Hankook Optimo 225/60R15s on the front and Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T 255/60R15s on the rear.

You would not find a cleaner more usable and fully sorted Mustang ready for enjoyable daily driving than this stunning Fastback. A superb example that has been tastefully resto modded and obviously well loved and perfectly preserved.
