For sale an immaculately presented example of the 1967 VC Valiant Regal 273 V8. Presented in Maple Gold this survivor VC Valiant is for sale from Perth, WA.

The VC Valiant that hit Australian showrooms in 1966 was a huge restyle versus the superseded AP6. Along with the new shape came new safety items including windscreen washers and two-speed wipers, front seat-belt mounts and reversing lights.

The Regal added 25 per cent to the price of a basic VC and the extra money included Chrysler’s three-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission as standard. Also in the mix was a heater/demister with blower fan, satin-trimmed dash and courtesy lights including one in the boot.

The VC features the first Aussie-made Chrysler V8: a 273 cubic inch (4.5L) engine, producing around 180 bhp with a 2-barrel carby, a TorqueFlite automatic, power brakes, and heavy-duty suspension. It also featured a mandatory vinyl-covered roof, separate non-reclining seats, centre console and massive, chromed shift lever for the automatic. More than 65,000 VCs were built with less than five per cent equipped with the V8 engine.

For sale is a rare 1967 VC Valiant Regal V8 sedan in factory Maple Gold with Gold trim. In stock standard condition and running the matching numbers 273 V8 engine, this stunning VC Valiant Regal is in perfect factory condition. The VC has been carefully maintained with the car presented in mostly original paint and interior trim. The car presents in perfect mechanical condition.

Originally delivered by Harden and Johnston P/L in Sydney, the VC was purchased by the current owner in 2020 from the second owner who retained this very well looked after example for over 30 years. The VC Regal features front disc brakes with factory brake booster. The current owner has fitted electronic ignition for easier starting.

Riding on factory steel rims with excellent 195/70R14 tyres and the original hubcaps, this is a stunning usable classic Mopar perfect for weekend cruising.
