1966 Ford Mustang Convertible 289 2V - Arcadian Blue

Now for sale is this absolutely gorgeous Arcadian Blue '66 Mustang Convertible. A superb example featuring a Ford Motorsport 302 Crate engine and C4 auto, this Convertible features the factory electric roof and genuine centre console and is now for sale from our Sydney Showroom.

This has got to be one of the sweetest Mustangs we have seen for quite some time. Running a Ford Motorsport 302 Crate engine and factory C4 3 speed auto, this Mustang was imported to Australia in 2007 from Indiana and is supplied with full history, import paperwork and a receipt folder and restoration photo file.

Fully restored in Australia in 2014, the Mustang was stripped to a bare shell and fully disassembled. The rust free body was then repainted in the original Arcadian Blue and retrimmed in Black vinyl. Mechanically the Mustang has been fitted with a Ford Motorsport 302 crate engine featuring a mild Ford Motorsport camshaft, Crane roller rockers, Edlebrock Performer manifold, electronic Ignition, 600 CFM Holley, Hooker headers and a PWR Aluminium Hi-Flow radiator. The Mustang is running a fully reconditioned C4 auto and a dual exhaust system. The car has just been fully serviced with all oils replaced.

The Mustang is optioned with many GT upgrades including Kelsey Hayes power front disc brakes, GT driving lights, GT Stainless Steel exhaust by Hi-Tech exhausts and a GT rear valance. All gauges have been serviced and work perfectly as does the horn and the Mustang is fitted with a digital retro radio. All chrome and brightwork is in good condition.

The Mustang's suspension has also been fully rebuilt, lowered to Shelby height specs with Lovell Springs and Bilstein shocks, strut braces, Shelby 17” wheels fitted with Goodyear F1 tyres.

The boot is also fully detailed with checker boot liner and a full sized spare with jack. The boot is partly Dynamated for sound insulation.

The Mustang drives, handles and stops perfectly. This is a Mustang that can be driven all day, everyday with confidence.

Supplied with a Certificate of Title, import paperwork and a receipt and photo file for works undertaken.
