1962 Ford Thunderbird Roadster 427 V8 (SOLD)

Australian delivered '62 RHD T'Bird. Concourse restored and show stopping good looks are just the beginning of this 1962 Ford Thunderbird Convertible/Roadster. Full ground up rebuild in 2011. Bare metal respray in factory Raven black with black trim. New 427 Windsor crate motor with alloy heads (still have original 390 V8 and gear box) custom headers with a 21/2" stainless exhaust. C4 auto with mini stall and 9" diff and 4 wheel disk brakes all round. Air Ride, air bag suspension - sits on Chassis and lifts approx. 5". Dakota digital dash, push button start, shaved door handles etc. Wheels are 19x8 CSA with 245/35 Maxxis tyres. Roadster top comes off so it can sit 5 people. The glass has been removed from the doors and filled to give a cleaner look. Appeared in Street Machine magazine. Full engineers paper work. Approx. $150,000 to build the car. Full WA rego.
