1996 VS Commodore V8 BT1 in factory Silver Ice featuring the factory IRS, ABS, FE2 suspension, LSD, SS interior with power windows, A/C, P/S, unique Police interior lights and cold air intake. Located in Lawson in the Blue Mountains, NSW for your inspection.

Original condition throughout and running the matching numbers 5 Litre V8 and 4 speed T-700 gearbox with Police shift kit, this BT1 Commodore was originally sold on the 21st of October, 1996 and retained by Paul Wakeling Holden, Campelltown, NSW for Graham Harris, the then manager of the dealership's parts department.

Purchased by the current owner in September, 2012, the Commodore was used as his daily drive until recently and has always been garaged. Paint work is the factory Silver Ice and presents well for its age with the clear coat flaking in one spot on top of the right front fender, minor rust in the boot area and a small dent in the right rear quarter as shown in the photos.

Mechanically, the Commodore is in very good maintained condition with the recent addition of Pacemaker headers and a 3" exhaust system with high flow cats. The automatic has also been rebuilt by Marko Transmissions with receipts.

The interior features the Police specified SS trim which is in good condition. The BT1 instrument cluster is still in place and the car is showing 293,132 Klms on the clock. The factory Air conditioning needs a new compressor and the hoodlining is sagged as is common with this model. Otherwise, the interior is in excellent condition.

The Commodore is riding on VX SS alloy 17" rims with near new 235/45 tyres. There is also a tow bar.

A well priced example for the BT1 Police enthusiast and a nicely spec'd Commodore with the BT1 standard features of the high performance LSD, FE2 suspension, 90L long range fuel tank, SS interior, interior lighting and unique instrument cluster.
