1977 HX Holden Premier Station Wagon 308 V8 - One Owner!
Precious family heirloom. One owner 1977 HX Holden Premier Station Wagon. Factory 5 Litre V8 and T-400 Automatic gearbox with log books and lots of wonderful family memories included. For sale from Hobart, Tasmania.
Purchased by Mr. Garry Jones from Motor Pty Ltd in Hobart on the 1st of March, 1977 this rare Premier Wagon has led a charmed and well loved life in the one family since new. Ordered with the 5 Litre V8 and T-400 Automatic, this 6 seater Wagon is factory fitted with Ice Cold integrated Air Conditioning and power steering. The owner has also fitted an CD stacker, Cruise Control, Hazard Warning Lights, Inertia Reel front seat belts, driving lights, tow bar, child restraint anchor points, a fire extinguisher and lots of other nice additions to further improve on this lovely survivor Premier Wagon.
In unrestored condition, the Premier is presented with original Bordeaux Metallic paint with touch ups over the years and all original Tan vinyl interior. Paintwork is excellent for the age with no rust but as to be expected some tastefull paint work patina. The interior is excellent with original carpets, crash pad, door trims and seats, hoodlining etc. The car has covered a genuine 420,391 klms from new and comes with the original log books, instruction booklets, service history and documentation showing the engine change in June, 1991. Even the original number plates as noted in the log books are still with the Wagon.
The HX was used as school teacher Mr. Jones' daily driver and to take the family on holiday road trips around Tasmania, through South Australia, Victoria and parts of NSW.
The Premier is fitted with the electric rear window in the tailgate and is riding on the original 14" steel wheels with excellent tyres and original hubcaps plus original GMH mud flaps.
This is a great cruiser for the family with a rarely offered engine and transmission combo, in amazing original condition and with a wonderful family history to go with it. The perfect Holden to create your own road trip memories with.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
