Super rare Tuxedo Black restored 1976 HX Monaro GTS 4 door running a period correct QT 308 V8 and TH400 automatic gearbox. Mildura, Vic. car for your inspection.

When was the last time you saw a Tuxedo Black HX GTS for sale? Purchased 6 years ago from Western Australia by the current owner, the car has had a closed door respray in 2014. The restoration included a rebuild of the 308 V8 and the engine features a mild cam, 4BBL Rochester carby, Pacemaker extractors, stainless exhaust, all new gaskets, reconditioned heads and new valves springs. The auto and diff have been serviced and the car drives smooth with less than 5,000 km on the rebuild.

The Slate black with a cloth insert interior was also retrimmed at the same time with new seat coverings, roof lining, door trims and crash pad. The HX shows 199,122 kilometres from new. The car also has the original AM radio and clock fitted. The car features factory Air conditioning and Power steering. The A/C, however, needs a new compressor. Brakes and suspension have passed a recent roadworthy.

The HX is a good original example of the last of the Monaro GTS model. If you are looking for a super rare example in a killer colour combo, then this is the one for you.

Don't miss this rare piece of Australian Holden motoring history.

AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
