For sale from our Sydney Showroom is a super rare survivor 1976 XB Fairmont painted in the rare colour of Stratosphere Grey with Chamois trim.
One family owned for 46 years, this Fairmont is one of only a few Stratosphere Grey XB Fairmonts ordered. It is presented with unblemished original Chamois trim, perfect door cards, dash, steering wheel, carpets and crashpad.
Featuring the all matching numbers 250 6 cylinder engine and T-Bar C4 automatic transmission. The Fairmont has covered a genuine 145,970 kilometres from new and comes complete with the original log books, owners manuals and two sets of keys.

1976, this rare survivor XB Fairmont is damage and rust free. The XB was closed door resprayed 7 years ago while the engine bay, door jambs and boot are all presented in factory paint. The Fairmont is fitted with the factory optioned Beige Vinyl roof.
The interior is exceptional. Even the driver's seat is like new with no cracks or splits. Same goes for the dash, and the original carpets are in fantastic condition and the parcel shelf shows nil fading.
Take a look under the bonnet and its hard to believe that this XB is in unrestored condition. Mechanically this low mileage Fairmont has been serviced regularly and drives like new. The XB Fairmont has recently been fully serviced with new oils, spark plugs and filters and fitted with a new brake master cylinder, machined brakes, new top ball joints, bushes and spring saddles.
The XB is riding on genuine 12 slot steel rims with brand new dress rims, caps and nuts with brand new red walled Nankang 205/75R14 tyres all round.
This XB is possibly one of the cleanest XBs we have come across. The current second Ford enthusiast owner has fitted an XB GS grill with driving lights and a GS stripe. The next owner can keep the car original or convert the Fairmont to a V8 and continue the GS or GT theme. The choice is yours.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
