For sale is a super cool 1974 HQ Belmont Panel Van. Running the original matching numbers 202 6 cylinder engine and 3 on the tree manual change, this HQ comes with the original owners LOG BOOKS and owners manual. Sold originally through Flanagans Motors out of Bunbury, WA, the car has always been a WA car. The current and second owner bought the car in 1995 from the original farmer owner, a Mrs. A. Dillon and used the car for touring before shedding the Panel Van in 1999.
Originally Autumn Gold in colour, the Panel Van has been repainted at some stage in Arctic Blue and while the trim colour of Chestnut is correct to the tags the trim has been replaced with a later model Chestnut trim. Dash and steering wheel are all original and all gauges work with the car showing 130,388 km on the clock. The car is factory fitted with the side windows.
Mechanically the Panel Van runs like clockwork. Smooth and still strong, the good old 202 purrs along and the gear changes are smooth and the diff is clunk free. The Panel Van is fitted with Genie extractors and a sports exhaust system. Serviced recently with new oils, filters, brakes have been flushed and serviced, oils changed in the diff and gearbox and the suspension has been treated to new Nolethane bushes.
The body is good for its age with minor rust at the rear left quarter where the Panel Van section joins to the ute well body but the floors and sills are solid and rust free and the paint although not the original tone is shiny and suits the Panel Van to a tee.
Riding on 14" Dragway mags, the Van is fitted with Holden mud flaps, tow bar, sun shield and good tyres. The Van is ready for your own personal touches and to create your own great memories exploring our amazing country in Holden Belmont style.
The car comes with some receipts and is currently unregistered. Can come with Roadworthy and registration in WA if required. Located in Perth, WA for inspection by appointment. (Ref. 5960)

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
