1972 saw the all new coke bottle shaped XA Falcon come down the Ford production line. This was an all Australian conceived, engineered and styled Falcon. But the XA was a whole lot more than just a face lift. Ford had put a great deal of effort to further improve handling, quietness and comfort. And the public loved the result with 129,473 XAs sold in a relatively short model run. For sale from Oran Park, NSW.

Launched in March, 1972, the XA was Ford Australia’s first model to be completely designed and built in this country. Not many are left in the superb unrestored condition as this XA Fairmont now offered for sale. In stunning all original Copper Bronze paint with all original Saddle trim, this 1972 XA V8 Fairmont features the original day one matching driveline.

A ONE OWNER Fairmont, the XA was used by the 91 year old owner as a daily driver from purchase on the 20th of December, 1972. Purchased from Carl Robertson Ford, Southport, Queensland the XA is a dry Toowoomba, Queensland car and comes complete with the original owners log book, owners manual plus some service history. The original dealer sticker is still on the back window, the car has never had a radio fitted and the factory tow bar is included. The Fairmont runs the matching numbers 302 Cleveland V8 and column automatic transmission and has covered a genuine 118,031 miles from new.

The interior is all original and in near perfect condition throughout with only minor wear to the drivers side bolster. The crash pad and steering wheel are also perfect as are the carpets and hood lining. The Fairmont was factory optioned with Beige vinyl roof, front windscreen weather shield, bucket seats and side protection pack.

The Fairmont is riding on the original steel wheels with perfect condition Fairmont caps with new tyres fitted in 2021.

The XA is registered on full QLD registration with original OAO432 black and white plates.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
