1971 Ford Falcon XY GT - Nugget Gold
Bare metal restored November, 1971 XY GT Falcon in Nugget Gold with Saddle trim. RESHELLED at some point of its life. Featuring the original COMPLIANCE PLATE and running the matching numbers 351 D block 4V Cleveland engine, FMX Automatic gearbox and 9" LSD. For sale from our Sydney Showroom.
One of the last XY GT Falcons built, this XY GT has had a rotisserie restoration completed in 2024. The GT was stripped to a bare shell, placed onto a rotisserie and all repairs were done in metal with 2 pack Nugget Gold paint applied. Chrome is still original as is the glass excluding the windscreen. The GT is a one of one built with the options of Beige Vinyl roof, delete Superoo stickers and Superfringe Push Button radio.
The GT is indicating 153,463 miles and features a maintained original motor with the original Autolite carby and extractors. The radiator has been serviced and the brakes have been rebuilt. The GT features the factory original bakerlite fan shroud and factory date correct horns.
The interior of the GT has also been restored with new seat coverings, door cards, carpets, hood lining with original crash pad and console. All gauges and the factory Superfringe radio are in working condition.
Riding on 5 slot rims shod with brand new red walled Maxxis 215x65R14 tyres, spare wheel and new boot mat. The GT is supplied with the C pillar vinyl roof chrome strips and a fresh set of Superoo decals if required.
According to the ICAARS Report, this is one of only 1,531 XY GTs built, one of only 619 automatic GTs built, one of 94 Nugget Gold GTs and one of one with the exact options fitted.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
