Super rare to find UNRESTORED 1970 ZC 351 K code Cleveland powered Ford Fairlane in Polar White with optional Burgundy painted roof and matching Burgundy trim for sale from Launceston, Tasmania.

According to the Ford gurus, less than 200 ZC Fairlanes were built with the 351 Cleveland V8 engine towards the end of the ZC model and prior to the introduction of the ZD model in late September, 1970. Purchased by the current owner from the original owner in 1974, the Fairlane has been lovingly maintained and enjoyed by the grandfather of the current owner and has never left the northern part of Tassie since new. Sold new by G.M. Jackson Pty Ltd in Launceston, Tasmania, the Fairlane comes with all the original documentation including the owners log books and owners manuals. The Fairlane has covered a genuine documented 73,559 miles from new.

The Fairlane still wears its original acrylic paint which is in remarkable condition for the age of the car. There are a few small blemishes on the bonnet from long term storage but other wise this is a damage and rust free survivor. The chrome, stainless and glass are all original and also present in excellent condition.

On the inside, the sumptuous Burgundy trim and door cards are original and in excellent condition with beautiful still soft upholstery with no cracks or tears, perfect original crash pad, steering wheel and dash, hood lining, seat belts and carpets. All the gauges work as does the factory Superfringe radio.

According to the owner, the matching numbers 351 2V Cleveland runs like new. He has fitted a new fuel pump, air cleaner, points, brake shoes, pads, new shocks in the rear and has had the rear springs reset. All fluids have been replaced including the brake, gearbox, diff and engine oils. There are no oil leaks at all. The Fairlane has a factory FMX 3 speed automatic with column shift, power steering and the factory 2.75 ratio 9” LSD. The Fairlane is still running the original Autolite plug leads and coil.

The underside of the Fairlane also presents in excellent condition and the exterior, interior and underbody have been treated to a recent full professional detail.

The Fairlane is riding on the original 14" steel rims with the original ZC hubcaps and brand new Maxtrex 215x65R14 tyres. A spare wheel, factory tools and the original boot mat are present and accounted for in the boot.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
