For sale is an unique XY GT, 1 of only 106 Electric Blue XY GT Falcons ever built and only one-off optioned GT with the super desirable GOLDE Sunroof Option 10 ticked on the Ford Dealership order sheet. Now for sale from our Sydney Showroom.

Here is an unique opportunity to secure one of the most iconic Australian Muscle cars. The XY GT Falcon. No other Australian muscle car ever left the factory with a working shaker attached to the top of the engine designed to breath cool air into the carburettor. Or sported extroverted Superroo side stripes, bonnet black outs and plenty of attitude. And to think, these cars were bought by Mums and Dads as family sedans. Pretty cool indeed. And in Electric Blue paint with Black GT Superroo stripes down the side, this is one head turning unit.

Purchased originally from Alto Ford in Gordon, NSW this ONE-OF-ONE built XY GT is factory optioned with the most desirable option available for an XY GT Falcon. The GOLDE sunroof option can easily add $50,000 to the value of a GT Falcon. And if you ever get tired of the wonderous exhaust note from out the back and the magical shaker up front, you've got the factory fitted Superfringe radio to entertain you.

The XY GT was fully restored in 2011 to factory specifications. This included a full rebuild to the matching numbers 351 4V Cleveland, the factory 4 speed Top Loader gearbox and 9" LSD diff. Repainted in factory Electric Blue using 2 Pack paint, the GT still presents in excellent condition throughout with all paint dabs and markings carefully reapplied in the engine bay and on the undercarriage.

The interior was retrimmed with new black vinyl trim, door cards, reskinned crash pad and the original rim blow steering wheel. The GT was fitted with new carpets and hood lining and has covered a genuine 145,107 miles from new.

The GT is riding on the factory 5 slot wheels with mint caps and dress rims with Red Wall tyres plus a Bathurst Globe spare in the boot. The GT is also fitted with Phase 3 front bib spoiler, rear venetian blind, bumper over riders and dual sports tear drop mirrors.
