This has got to be the best surviving XW Falcon Utility in Australia. In Harmony grey with Red trim, this Falcon Ute has covered a genuine documented 38,891 miles from new! For sale from our Sydney Showroom.

Sold new to a Mr. Edward A. Heaslip from a country property called Werona in Tallimba, NSW through Giles Bros. P/L of Termora, NSW on the 5th of August, 1969. The Falcon runs the matching numbers 200 CID 6 cylinder engine and 3 speed column manual transmission. The original owner was a farmer who obviously cared a great deal for his precious car and used it lightly as can be seen from the condition of the interior and rear tray. The Ute has had a closed door respray due to paint accidentally having been spilled onto the car while it was parked beside a work site. According to the well known Ford collector and long term second owner who purchased the car in 2005, the car was repainted in acrylic under the original owner's insurance policy.

The interior tells a story of a thousand words. Take a close look and you realise that this is as close to new condition as you will find in a more than 50 year old Falcon. And a work Ute to boot. The seat trim, hood lining, dash, steering wheel and crash pad are in excellent near new condition. The original manual Superfringe radio is fitted and the ash tray has never been used (There is not even a cigarette lighter fitted). Amazingly there are no scuff marks or signs of wear to be seen anywhere on the inside of this very special Falcon except for a small tear to the floor mat at the dip switch.

Mechanically, the Ute runs and drives as you would imagine a brand new XW Falcon Ute would. The original log books show that the Ute was serviced yearly by Giles Brothers with service records indicating servicing at 1,033, 3078, 6,100, 11,611, 15,479, 18,303, 21,332, 24,091 and 30,174 miles. On the 30,174 mile service the original speedo was changed according to the records and a new speedo fitted under warranty. The current mileage reading is 8,717 miles meaning a total of 38,891 miles travelled in its 53 years on our Aussie roads. During the current ownership, the carby has been rebuilt with new plugs and points fitted.

The engine bay presents as day one except for the battery and all factory stampings and stickers are still in place. The Ute is optioned with weathershield, rear venetian and an as new tonneau cover with excellent draw string. She rides on original steel rims with perfect Falcon hub caps and red walled tyres. There is also an excellent spare and factory tools.

The Ute still wears the original NSW number plates ALG-131 and is supplied with the original log books, service history, Eze-kote Rust Proofing certificate, the transfer from the estate of Mr. Heaslip to the second owner plus a spare fan belt and spark plugs.

Located in our Sydney Showroom for your inspection. (Ref: 6073)

If you wish, we will gladly arrange an actual/video inspection tour of the car and of course there is no issue to arrange enclosed transport door to door anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.
